Dale worked mainly in construction his whole life, mostly as a carpenter. He enjoyed helping and doing for others, especially his family and ‘older’ folks. He enjoyed traveling whenever possible. After a work related accident in 2005 which resulted in a spinal cord injury, he was a real trooper in coping with all the ramifications involved. A local service is not planned. Burial is being arranged for a later time. The family would be grateful for a memorial gift to any of the following: Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078 (They are dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.); University of Washington Foundation, Box 358045, Seattle, WA 98195, designated for SCI Research; Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) This promise is a great comfort to Dale’s family knowing that he has gone to be with Jesus. We love you and will miss you.
