Cheryl Renae Geleynse

Cheryl Renae Geleynse was born on August 3, 1963, in Bellingham, WA to Chris and Louise (Honcoop) Geleynse.  She grew up in the Everson, WA area and attended Lynden Christian Schools-graduating in 1981.  Cheryl enrolled in nursing classes at Bellingham Technical College and became a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She served at the Christian Healthcare Center in Lynden, WA, then at St. Francis of Bellingham.

Cheryl attended various churches before settling into Immanuel Bible Church and becoming a member.  She enjoyed studying the Bible with others and initiated one-on-one or small group studies where she lived.  She also enjoyed children, craft projects, and animals.

Cheryl is survived by her parents Chris and Louise Geleynse; her siblings Craig Geleynse, Charlene (Tim) Nieuwsma, Crystal (Rob) Hilverda, and Clark (Rachel) Geleynse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Geleynse family thanks St. Francis of Bellingham, Whatcom Hospice, and Immanuel Bible Church for all the care and visits.
