Charles Nichols Allen

Charles Nichols Allen, age 78, of Bellingham passed away in Bellingham Monday, May 20, 2013 with his daughter’s at his side. He was born in Falls Of Rough, Kentucky, August 24, 1934 to parents to parents Tommy and Nina M. (Nichols) Allen. He worked at Georgia Pacific as a Security Guard for many years. Charles loved his motorcycles and in his younger years the Stock Car races at Skagit Speedway. He also enjoyed a few years living the Island life on San Juan Island. But most of all he loved his grandkids and spending time with his family. Charles was preceded in death by his parent’s, his sister Lois Wintemute and son-in-law Cari Craig Harriman. Charles is survived by his daughters, Sally Allen and Shirley Harriman; grandchildren, Tony Harriman, April Harriman, Kari Harriman and Landon Snipstead; and two great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Allen and his wife Joanne and Richard Allen and his wife Shirley. Drop-in/open house will be from 1:00pm - 3:00pm June 8th at Sig's Funeral Services, 809 West Orchard Drive Suite 5, Bellingham, WA, 98225.
