Carolyn Joann Jackson

Carolyn Joann Jackson, age 70, of Bellingham, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Bellingham. She was born December 16, 1943 in Bellingham to parents Herbert and Helen Viola (Edwards) Jackson and was a lifetime resident of Whatcom County. Carolyn was a successful owner of CJ’s Harbor Salon and Barber. She loved to watch the Seattle Mariners but her greatest joy in life was her daughters and grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Herb Jackson and her mother Helen Hamell and daughter Tracie Shawn Holmstrom and is survived by her two daughters, Sebrina Holmstrom and Dawn Vermuelen and her husband Mark; granddaughter Kimberly Holmstrom and great granddaughter Kendahlyn Holmstrom; brother, Robert Jackson and other nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, 1:00 pm at My Church, 3218 Fielding AV, Bellingham, WA 98225 with Pastor Felix Anderson officiating. Family suggests memorial donations be made in Carolyn’s name to the American Lung Association, 822 John St., Seattle, WA 98109.
