Carol Marion Cammack Carpenter

Carol Marion Cammack Carpenter, age 83, of Lynden, WA, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Lynden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carpenter and step-daughter, MaryAnn Halligan. Carol is survived by her children, Karen Jameson of Vallejo, CA, Ken (Patty) Jameson of Bellingham, WA, step-children Bruce (Maxine) Carpenter of Tehachapi, CA, Faye (Peter) Walzer of Topanga, CA, Anita Estes of Redondo Beach, CA.; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Carol was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She and her husband, Richard Carpenter, owned and operated Carpenter Termite & Pest Control, while living in the San Fernando Valley, prior to their retirement to Shelter Cove, CA, where they lived for about 30 years. As her health declined, she moved to Lynden, WA in 2010 to be near her son and his family.

Carol enjoyed homemaking activities and spending time with family. She loved the Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune TV shows.

The family wishes to thank the staff of both Lynden Manor & Whatcom Hospice for their wonderful care.

A memorial and inurnment will be planned at a later date in California.
