Betty Belle Berna Pederson

On the evening of April 5th, 2016, Betty Belle Berna Pederson, a beautiful lady, Mama, Grammie, GiGi, and friend took her first breath in paradise...her truest of true realities, her "real" home! She finished the race and is now in the arms of Jesus, her Savior! Her loved ones will ache for her until they see her again in heaven.  Betty was born in Bellingham, WA on July 3rd, 1927. At the age of 19, on September 27th, 1946, she married her sweetheart, Phil Pederson, and together they raised 3 daughters, Berna, Deena, and Miki. Betty took delight in the Lord by displaying His joy; thanking Him daily for all of the blessings He provided! She loved family, she loved to laugh, she loved to sing, and she loved to dance! She was a sassy, little spit-fire who celebrated life and embraced it with God's strength and energy. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerhardt and Frieda Koerner, her husband Phil Pederson, one brother and five sisters, Ted, Emily, Petty, Billie, Mollie, Arline, son Michael and son-in-law Jim. She is survived by her three daughters, Berna Wilson, Deena Hamilton (Gordon), Miki Hovde (Tom), 8 grandchildren Emma (Van), Amelia (Juan), Ian, Sunny (Ben), Mandi, Hollie, Susan(Dustin), David (Sarah) and 14 great-grandchildren Caden, Saylor, Lucy, Daisy, Elias, Jillian, Georgia, Luke, Baker, Jonah, Zoe, Mae, Hudson and Elsa. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 16th at Immanuel Bible Church, 2000 North Street, Bellingham, Washington  98226.  Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s memory to; Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O.
