Benjamin "Ben" James den Hartog

Benjamin James den Hartog, age 30, was born September 19, 1987 in Bellingham, WA. He grew up on a dairy farm in Sumas and as a kid loved all things tractor related. His favorite thing was riding in the “backwards tractors” during corn harvest. Ben graduated from Lynden Christian in 2006 and went on to graduate from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2011. He loved debating doctrine with his Dad and cooking all of his family delicious food, usually with a generous amount of cream and bacon. Ben had a great sense of humor and never ceased to make everyone laugh. He worked at Cascade Farms and loved driving fancy tractors. He built meaningful relationships with his coworkers and was an amazing photographer. Benjamin is survived by his Mom and Dad, Jim and Jill (Ten Kley) den Hartog, his 3 sisters, Emily, Katie, and Molly, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Adam, Eve and everyone who died before him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed, but he is resting with joy in the presence of his Savior.
