Anthony Ryan Stone, age 62, was born August 29, 1962, in Bellingham, WA, to William and Marvel (Fosmo) Stone, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, in Ferndale, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law.
Ryan is survived by his beloved wife, Kathi Loya; his daughter, Morgan Stone; and his son, Nolan Stone. He also leaves behind his stepchildren: Ryan (Sarah) Winger, Jessica (Jason) Elliott, Kara Silsbee, Gabby, Ana, and Alivia Gomez. Ryan cherished his siblings, Scott (Julie) Stone, Randy (Chris) Stone, and sister Kelly (Bill) Bartlett. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Shelby, Lloyd, Brooklyn, Jaxon, and Ryder, and a great-grandfather to Kingston. Additionally, he is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and his mother-in-law, Elaine Steinbach.
After relocating to Texas, Ryan, was affectionately known as "Boppy," enjoyed a variety of activities, including smoking meat and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. His greatest joys included spending time with family, supporting the Seahawks, Crabbing in the Pacific Northwest, and enjoying the company of his dogs.
Boppy was renowned for his warmth and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His culinary talents brought happiness to family and friends, as he delighted them with his delicious creations at gatherings. A lover of the outdoors, he found joy in simple pleasures, whether during peaceful camping trips or adventurous travels. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, dedication to family, and zest for life will live on in the cherished memories and lives he touched.
Ryan worked as the Maintenance Manager at Totally Chocolate since 2006, where he considered his colleagues to be part of his extended family.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the BP Heron Center, located at 7290 Birch Bay Drive, Blaine, WA 98230. A Discovery Pass is required for parking, and casual attire is requested.
