Anne Borgny Dillon

Anne Garnaas-Dillon passed away on May 17, 2022.

She was born on October 19, 1933.  Anne was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her sister Laurine Keyes, and her three children, Neil Garnaas (wife Pamela), Arvid Garnaas (wife Diane) and Cory Garnaas (wife Anne) her six grandchildren , Brandon, Kellen, Carly, Kaden, Lauren and Tracey (Garnaas) McKay; three great grandchildren Sawyer, Layla Garnaas and Sophie McKay.  Anne was born and raised in Whatcom County, attended school at Meridian and Bellingham High School.  She was a member of Sons of Norway.  She was proud of her Norwegian heritage. Anne is preceded in death by her parents  Sigwart and Sigrid Hagen, her brother Vernon Hagen; her husband Nils Garnaas her son Perry Garnaas and her second husband Richard Dillon.

Anne and Richard retired in Queen Creek, Arizona. After 35 years she returned to Bellingham.  Anne’s final resting place will be Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale Washington.  A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Jacobs Landing clubhouse, on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.  7806 Birch Bay Drive, Blaine, Washington 98230.

Anne will be missed until we meet her again in paradise.
