Alice "Vera" Brant

Alice (Vera) Brant was born in Acme, Washington to Forest and Alice Elsbree April 27, 1921.  She is survived by Carol Vrieling, Clifton Elsbree, Marilyn Colkitt, Donald (Greta) Elsbree, Patricia (Bill) Canaan, Mardelle (Dick) Morton and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Prededed in death by her husband, James A. Brant, parents, siblings Dick Elsbree, Lyle Elsbree.Vera graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 1939.  Vera was employed as a clerk at department stores, and was Secretary to Mayor Reg Williams and at the Bellingham Public Works Department where she retired from.  Vera’s hobbies were sewing, quilting and doting on nieces and nephews.  Graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery, October 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM.  Refreshments will be at, 4848 Village Drive, Bellingham (Cordata).
