Alice Aurora Taylor

 Alice A. Taylor, age 90, of Ferndale passed away at the Whatcom Hospice House in Bellingham Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born on January 9, 1931 in Raymondville, Texas to parents Manuel and Esmerelda Salazar.  Alice had a life-long passion for Embroidery.  She also enjoyed making quilts, which she gave as gifts.  She took great pleasure in her first cups of coffee each day and she was known for her love of hats.   Alice had a career as a Nurses Aide, a work she found great joy in.  She lost her partner of almost 50 years, John Guilliams, back in February.  She also was preceded in death by 2 of her Children.  She is survived by 7 Children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several great, great grandchildren.  She will be missed. Private family graveside services were held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale.
