Albert Lawrence Rauch, of Custer, went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2016 in Bellingham, WA. Lawrence was 76, born in Bellingham on November 26, 1939 to Albert and Lena Rauch. Lawrence spent the majority of his life living in Whatcom County. After graduating from Meridian High School in 1958, he was owner/operator of Dakota Creek Dairy Farm in Custer for 30 years. Lawrence was passionate about his family and loved them ever-so deeply. He was a true people person and made friends with people from all walks of life. One of Lawrence's favorite pastimes was to visit with friends while sipping a cup of coffee. He also enjoyed going to Trinity Lutheran Church, Ferndale Mt. Baker Bowling Alley, the Everson Auction Market, and Wynne Auction. Lawrence's interests included fishing, hunting, sports, gardening, dancing, traveling, bird watching, collections (coins, stamps, rocks) and woodworking (including crafting cow planter boxes). Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Bertha Creelman (Timothy), Bill Rauch (Karen), Ken Rauch (Maria); grandchildren, Jayson Creelman, Amber Icay-Creelman, Cassie Rauch, Seth Rauch, Sandy Nicolaas, Gail Creelman, Marc Creelman; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Trenton, Quentin, Kaylee, Isabelle, Brennun; his brothers, John Rauch (Carole), Ken Rauch (Sharon) and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 119 Texas Street, Bellingham, WA 98225 with Celebration of Life reception to follow.   Burial Haynie Cemetery, Custer, WA. In Lieu of flowers family suggests memorial donation be made to Ferndale Food Bank or Whatcom Council on Aging.
