Welcome to the memorial page for

Rose Marie "Rosie" Robinson

May 21, 1946 ~ July 20, 2017 (age 71)

Rose Marie (Rosie Morvel) Robinson, age 71, of Lynden peacefully walked into the arms of Jesus, Thursday, July 20, 2017.  Rosie loved her family, her community family and her work family and she was loved by all in return.  Her smile lit up the room, her love & compassion melted the hardest of hearts, her empathy quieted the soul, her words of wisdom cleared the mind.  She gave her all to whatever the task was at hand; be it at work, helping someone else in need, or showering her loved ones and complete strangers with gifts she called “tokens of love”.  God blessed Rosie with numerous gifts with the most powerful being a generous, loving, caring and compassionate heart.  She was very intelligent, quick witted and hardworking!!  She enjoyed and was an incredible gifted writer, writing poems was a hobby that others encouraged her to submit to Hallmark.  Rosie enjoyed crosswords, embroidery, sewing, crocheting and living life to its fullest.  She loved to sit in the sun or go for long drives with the top of her Chrysler Sebring down.  She was beautiful inside and out and even modeled for a woman’s clothing store. Most importantly Rosie knew and loved Jesus from childhood.  She delighted in all of Gods’ creation.  She gave of herself to all that she met, she was an earthly angel who loved to talk about Jesus to others.  When she became a grandmother, her greatest desire was that her grandchildren and great grandchildren would know, love and follow Jesus, to further the legacy of their family’s heritage.  She will forever be in the hearts of those she touched with her love, her hugs and her random acts of kindness.   Rosie was preceded in death by her son Sean Robinson, mom Ruth Phyllis Ann Lewis, dads Lawrence Richard Morvel and Francis Lestina Lewis, brothers Dan Lewis and Jim Morvel.  Survived by ex-husband’s Ralph (Penny) King and Darell (Bonnie) Robinson, daughter Monique (King) Newman (Bryan), grandson Chase Newman, granddaughter’s Chelsea (Newman) Stahler, Carleigh Newman and Izabelle Robinson.  Great grandchildren Jadon Newman, Mason Stahler, Aiyana Stahler and Kira Newman. Brother’s and sister’s: Gary (Reina) Morvel, Rich (Joy) Morvel, Vernon (Cheryl) Lewis, Judy (Bob) Rodeman, Laurie (Lauren) Smith, Jewel (Chuck) Piper, Cindy (Randy) McClelland, Mickey Buddle, Loretta Spruell and Hazel Moody and numerous nieces, nephews and friends!

Memorial service at graveside to be announced at a later date.
